CBS has found a new sister for Will Arnett.

Glee‘s Jayma Mays has been cast to replace It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia‘s Mary Elizabeth Ellis in the network’s freshman comedy The Millers, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

The multicamera comedy from Raising Hope‘s Greg Garcia revolves around a recently divorced guy (Arnett) whose life is complicated when his parents divorce and his mother (Margo Martindale) decides to move in with him, while his father (Beau Bridges) moves in with his sister, Debbie and her husband.

Mays will take over the role of Debbie, Nathan’s sister. Ellis played the role in the pilot opposite Michael Rapaport, who also is being replaced. The duo exited the series in May, shortly after the comedy was greenlighted at CBS. Debbie is described as a married mother of two who is stunned when her parents split and makes sure her clueless father isn’t coddled in a bid to see him return to married life.

For Mays, the role marks her first series regular role since she was bumped to recurring on Fox’s Glee, where she plays OCD guidance counselor Emma. In addition to her Glee role, she guest starred on FX’s The League and How I Met Your Mother. A Glee spokesman confirms Mays has been cleared to appear in a few episodes, so the actress likely will return to the Fox musical as Matthew Morrison‘s new wife.

Mays is repped by UTA and Framework Entertainment.

The Millers premieres Sept. 26 at 8:30 p.m. on CBS. Check out a preview, below.

Jayma Mays Takes on Fair Trade Fashion with Raven + Lily

Like Edun and SUNO, accessories brand Raven + Lily is carving a niche in humanitarian fashion by working with developing nations to create their pieces. Made in Ethiopia, Cambodia, and Kenya, the collections employ women to use found materials like bullet casings along with traditional materials like handmade looms and vegetable-dyed thread. (Raven & Lily also has operations in Los Angeles, where it works with homeless women to make soy candles.)

Now the brand is partnering with Jayma Mays, the Glee star who’s signed on to be their global brand ambassador. and chatted with ELLE.com about her favorite pieces and how our purchasing power can help change the world. “If everyone had a business model like Raven + Lily, I feel like the world would be a awesome place to live in,” Mays tells ELLE.com. “Every item is connected to helping change a life, providing a conversation piece for every wearer. This summer, we are going to Africa and I’m so excited to go and meet the women involved and learn all about it.” (She will be traveling to Ethiopia where they make the bullets into beads for jewelry, as well as Kenya where they weave tote bags.)

Mays urges shoppers to harness their purchasing power in order to help make a difference on a daily basis. “Whether it’s buying products or researching what you’re buying, or just becoming aware of what you’re buying, you’re saying so much with the money that you’re spending. When I buy something from Raven & Lily, I know that it is good, it is not harming anything, and the people making it are being helped. If you can do just one little thing at a time, it makes a huge impact.”
